Traditional martial arts are not about fighting others; they are work on oneself. The body becomes the place of study, movement becomes practice, and discipline becomes the way toward stillness.
The Way of Gong Fu is an immersive workshop rooted in the traditions of Shaolin Qigong and Daoist methods, keeping the spirit of traditional martial arts alive.
It is designed for people who want depth rather than surface movement. Guided by Bharu, you will work with foundational methods that connect body mechanics with internal work, developing a steady presence and good health. Through structured movement and close attention, physical action becomes moving meditation, and you build willpower and emotional balance from the inside out.
Return to the source. This workshop is open to everyone who wants a genuine practice, with or without previous experience.

Pillars of the Practice
- The Spirit of Traditional Martial Arts: Martial practice as a path of self-cultivation, as in the old lineages. We focus on the inner discipline, intention and focus that keep this heritage alive.
- Gong Fa (Foundational Methods): The roots of internal strength. We break down traditional stances, grounding and the skeletal alignment needed to generate strength without strain and build structural resilience.
- Qigong & Internal Work: Beyond fitness: working with vital energy. Through precise forms we refine breathing, release physical stagnation and open the body’s energy pathways.
- Moving Meditation: The forms practised as living Zen rather than exercise. Through intentional repetition the analytical mind quiets and movement becomes presence.
